Killing Eve spinoff
We're apparently getting a Killing Eve spinoff series based on Fiona Shaw's character, Carolyn Mertens.
The news comes ahead of the series finale this weekend.
Deadline reports production company Sid Gentle Films are in the very early stages of developing the series.
However, it hasn't yet been given the green light.
If it is given the go-ahead, it'll follow the early life of Carolyn, documenting her time in the British Secret Service.

Carolyn first appeared on the show as the head of MI6’s Russia desk.
She's been a massive part of all four seasons, so fans would love to know more about her shady past.
Killing Eve
The series is based on the novellas by Luke Jennings, and is written by the multi-award winning Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Eve (played by Sandra Oh) is a bored, whip-smart, pay-grade MI5 security officer whose desk-bound job doesn’t fulfil her fantasies of being a spy.

Villanelle (played by Jodie Comer) is a mercurial, talented killer who clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her.
Killing Eve topples the typical spy-action thriller as these two fiercely intelligent women, equally obsessed with each other, go head to head in an epic game of cat and mouse.
Fingers crossed the spinoff gets the go-ahead!
