One of the professional dancers on Dancing With The Stars Ireland has been forced to pull out of the show after being attacked on a night out.
Curtis Pritchard will need an emergency operation after being injured during an unprovoked attack in Cheshire in England on Thursday.
Dancing with the Stars pro-dancer Curtis Pritchard was involved in an incident on 26 December 2018.
As a result of the injuries sustained, he will not have recovered in time for the launch of the new series, which will air 6 January 2019.

He was due to take part in the dancing show, which kicks off next week.
His brother AJ, who works on Strictly Come Dancing, has also been left with bruises to his face, arms and body.
