RTÉ Toy Show The Musical
The first round of casting for RTÉ Toy Show The Musical has been revealed.
Irish actors Jamie Beamish, Clare Barrett and Anna Healy will all star in the new musical opening this December at The Convention Centre in Dublin.
Beamish will play the role of Dad, aka Brendan Mooney, the father of the musical's lead Nell.
You'll know him for playing Nigel Berbrooke in Bridgerton.
He also starred as Ciaran in Derry Girls.

Barrett has been cast as Nell's mother, Áine Mooney.
She's best known for having played Bronagh in Fair City, and Christopher Walken's wife, Mary Reilly in Wild Mountain Thyme.
And the role of Nana will be played by Anna Healy, who's starred in The Last Return, Mother’s Day and Emmerdale.
The lead role
A casting announcement for the lead role of Nell will be made next Friday, October 14th on The Late Late Show.
The musical follows the story of 12-year-old Nell Mooney, who's determined to recreate her mam’s favourite Toy Show night traditions.
However, not everyone in her family wants to remember the past.

Disaster strikes, and with the entire Toy Show in jeopardy, Nell and the local kids must find a way to save the night and keep everyone’s favourite TV show alive.
Toy Show The Musical will run from December 10th in The Convention Centre, Dublin.
