If you love The Lion King and Beyoncé, then this is a match made in heaven for you.
In case you hadn't heard, the Disney animation from 1994 is getting a live-action remake.
The movie is being directed by Jon Favreau and according to Variety, Beyoncé is his 'top choice to voice Nala in the upcoming movie.'
According to the same source, insiders are stressing that she hasn't made a decision regarding the film as of yet. Sources are saying that the studio and director will do whatever it takes to accommodate her schedule in a bid to get her on board.
There's been various reports circulating about the other actors in the movie. Donald Glover is on board to voice Simba and Earl Jones is reprising his role as Simba's father, Mufasa.
This isn't the first live-action remake for Favreau. He directed the recent hit The Jungle Book that hit cinemas last year.
We'll keep you posted on this one!
