An Irish version of The Masked Singer could be on the horizon.
But only if the UK series continues to be as successful as it is right now, which we've no doubt it will.

Director of content at Virgin Media told The Sun that an Irish version isn't off the cards.
He explained, 'While there are no immediate plans for an Irish version of The Masked Singer, we are keeping a close eye on how it’s performing because (the ITV version) is one of the top entertainment shows in Virgin Media TV’s Spring Schedule along with Dancing On Ice and The Voice.'

Westlife & Boyzone should get involved
Malone added that he thinks Irish stars like Westlife and Boyzone should get involved in the UK version.
'These guys are hugely talented and it would be an opportunity for them to win over a brand new audience in disguise.'
'Can you imagine the surprise when they removed their mask?'

What is The Masked Singer?
Where to start? The Masked Singer is a singing competition, but with a twist.
Its contestants are a bunch of celebrities wearing head to toe costumes which conceal their identity.
Can you match the voice to the celebrity behind the mask? It's harder than you'd think.

Joel Dommett hosts the show alongside judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, and Rita Ora.
And the UK show isn't the only one out there - Australia, America and South Korea all have their own versions.
The likes of Ryan Reynolds, Cody Simpson, Raven Symoné and loads more have taken part in different versions.
We would love to see an Irish version made!
