Calling all scardy cats!

If you're not a fan of horror, gore and sleeping with the lights on, we have your Halloween entertainment sorted.

Netflix have a long list of horror comedy films to ease you into the dark side this October 31st.

1. The Adams Family

This is a horror comedy for the whole family to enjoy.

The members of the odd Addams Family are up to more macabre antics in this sequel. This time around, Gomez Addams (Raul Julia) and his wife, Morticia (Anjelica Huston), are celebrating the arrival of a baby boy.

But siblings Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) are none too happy about the new addition, and try their best to eliminate the infant. When nanny Debbie Jelinsky (Joan Cusack) appears to keep the kids in line, her presence leads to an unexpected treacherous twist.

The film scored of 75% on rotten tomatoes.

2. Shaun Of The Dead

The first of the iconic Cornetto Trilogy, Shaun of the Dead is the ultimate cult classic.

Shaun is a 30-something loser with a dull, easy existence. When he's not working at the electronics store, he lives with his slovenly best friend, Ed, in a small flat on the outskirts of London. The only unpredictable element in his life is his girlfriend, Liz, who wishes desperately for Shaun to grow up and be a man. When the town is inexplicably overrun with zombies, Shaun must rise to the occasion and protect both Liz and his mother.

The film scored of 92% on rotten tomatoes.

3. Zombieland

As far as zombie films go, this one really gets you prepared for a zombie apocalypse.

After a virus turns most people into zombies, the world's surviving humans remain locked in an ongoing battle against the hungry undead.

Four survivors -- Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) and his cohorts Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) -- abide by a list of survival rules and zombie-killing strategies as they make their way toward a rumored safe haven in Los Angeles.

The film scored of 89% on rotten tomatoes.

4. Beetlejuice

If you love this film you have the sequel starring Jenna Ortega to look forward to.

After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house.

When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey Jones) and teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success.

Their efforts attract Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose "help" quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia.

The film scored 83% on rotten tomatoes.

5. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

Who ya gonna call?

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started -- the iconic New York City firehouse -- to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who've developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level.

But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

6. Goosebumps

If you grew up watching the Goosebumps series then this will be right up your street.

Upset about moving from the big city to a small town, young Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette) finds a silver lining when he meets his beautiful neighbor Hannah (Odeya Rush).

The teen is surprised to learn that Hannah's mysterious father is R.L. Stine (Jack Black), the famous author of the best-selling "Goosebumps" series.

When Zach accidentally unleashes the monsters from the fantastic tales, it's up to Stine, his daughter and Cooper to return the beasts back to the books where they belong.

The film scored 78% on rotten tomatoes.
