Getting creative on TikTok
The global pandemic hit travel photographer and TikTok star Erin hard, but she didn't let her creativity go to waste.
She decided to use her time in lockdown to recreate outdoor imagery, indoors.
And from here, #OurGreatIndoors was born.

Erin is so used to spending her time travelling, so when the pandemic hit, her whole world changed.
She explained, "I went from having a full work schedule to an empty calendar."
The photographer decided to brainstorm ways to stay creative within her profession.
The brainwave
Erin had a brainwave, "What if I created adventure scenes entirely within my apartment?"
The TikTok sensation ordered a bunch of miniature figures and got to work.
Using pillows, bed sheets, broccoli, paper and loads more items, Erin created some incredibly imagery.

By the time her third post had gone up, the press were in her inbox.
She was approached by CBS, NBC, Insider, The Morning Show, Daily Mail UK and more.
"I've continued the series and plan to keep going with it even after travel restrictions lift," Erin said.

Erin boasts an incredible following of over 73k people.
She posted a video sharing the story of her viral success, and it's reached over 1.4 million people.
The photographer hopes her story proves that, "creativity can thrive even in challenging times."
