Stop what you're doing and leg it into Penneys before this incredible lip scrub sells out. It was €3 which was still a steal, but now it's down to a euro.
As we drag ourselves through the winter, battling colds and flu and biting wind, our lips take quite a battering. It's almost impossible to keep them in tip-top condition with the likes of Vaseline alone so what you really need to do is get scrubbing - but in a gentle way - so that you remove the dead skin cells and cracked, chapped bits that are hanging on for dear life, allowing for softer more supple lips underneath to emerge. It's from their PS skincare range, and it smells and tastes (oops!) good enough to eat.
The thing is, you have to make sure to keep the fresh skin underneath well protected, so for this, I recommend investing in something more heavy duty than Vaseline, which merely creates a barrier between your lips and the elements. You need something that will treat and soothe your lips. Kiehl'slip balm - with Vitamin E and plenty of other goodies - is the way to go.
