The Mayor of Bologna in Italy has had enough of people sharing their love for Spaghetti Bolognese which he says is a fake dish!
Fake dish = zero calories?
Spaghetti Bolognese is well known worldwide for being a delish Italian dish.
Turns out no... it's really not a thing.
According to Virgino Merola, the Mayor of Bologna that Spaghetti is 'fake news' and he wants everyone to know it.

That translates to;
Dear Citizens I'm collecting photos of
#spaghetti bolognese around the#mondo, about fake news. This comes from#Londra. If you can send me your 😉 thanks!
Many people believe that Bolognese originated in Bologna, but as the Mayor reveals, this is simply not the case.
Speaking to Italian radio broadcaster RAI, he said:
Spaghetti Bolognese doesn't actually exist, yet it's famous the world over. What we'd prefer the world to know is that Bologna invented tagliatelle, tortellini and lasagne.
Honestly would love a dish of spaghetti right now.
