When you get a spot on your face it can be so tempting to pop it, even though you'll probably have a scar afterwards.
But after reading this you may think twice before you try to pop that spot.
According to FEMAIL there is an area on your face called the "triangle of death" if you get a spot in that area don't even think about touching it.
This danger zone on your face stretches from the top of the nose to a point on either side of the lips.
Squeezing a spot can create an open wound, which in turn can become infected by the dirt from our hands and airborne bacteria.
The veins can then form clots to contain infections, which puts pressure on the brain and leads to partial or full paralysis and in some cases death.
If left untreated an infection of the sinus cavity can also cause complete loss of vision, brain abscesses and meningitis.
Dr Sandra Lee better known as Dr Pimple Popper said that if inflammation from a spot spreads to the inner part of the brain, there's potential for blindness and a massive stroke.
So basically NEVER pop your spots!
