According to research conducted by dating app Lumen has shown that an impressive 19 % of women are attracted to Santa Claus.

The older women get the number only increases with 26% of older ladies ( over the age of 50) fancy Santa climbing down their chimney.

So why do 1 in5 women fancy Father Christmas?

Apparently, it's because of the beard and friendly appearance.

It's true that the majority of women prefer a man with a beard.

Men With Beards Are Officially More Attractive

Lumen's co-founder, Charly Lester, has said that the findings aren't really that surprising at all;
