Basically, the concept is when you post to social media in the hopes of that special someone seeing it. Don't lie to yourself - we've all done it at some point.
Model Matilda Dods, eloquently coined the term in a recent article for Tomboy Beauty, explaining that Gatsbying is "to post a video, picture or selfie to public social media purely for a love interest to see it."
