The charity
100% of the €20 entry fee for this year's run will go straight to the not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation, Wings for Life.
The Wings for Life World Run became the largest ever running event in history last year.
It's after more than 180,000 runners and wheelchair users from 195 nations took part.

You're not alone
If you don't have a friend to do the run with, that's okay - you're not alone!
People from all over the globe will be taking part, including some of the biggest names in sport.
Irish Women’s Hockey players Lena Tice, Hannah McLoughlin and Sarah Hawkshaw will all be running.

So will Connacht Rugby Players Conor Oliver, Caolin Blade and Oisin Dowling.
Soccer star Neymar da Silva Santos Jr, and tennis pros Matteo Berrettini and Stefanos Tsitsipas have also registered.
And so has skiing great Lindsey Vonn, Dakar Rally legend Cyril Despres and watersport icon Robby Naish.

How to get involved
All you need is a pair of runners, some headphones and the official Wings for Life World Run app on your phone.
You can download it on IOS or Android, or visit their website here.

Register your details and proceed to the, 'Sign Up,' page.
Once there, select, 'sign up now,' followed by, 'Run Wherever You Want.'
And you're good to (on your marks, get set) go!

What next?
Runners of all abilities, as well as wheelchair users will start together at 12pm (Irish time) on Sunday 8th May.
The virtual Catcher Car will start 30 minutes later.

It'll gradually get faster, and you'll be kept informed through the interactive GPS system on the app.
Once passed by the Catcher Car, runners will know they've successfully completed the event.
