Spice Up Your Life!
Some fans have so far been left disappointed by the Spice Girls Reunion tour, complaining of sound issues for the second night.
During their performance at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Monday night, a few claimed the Spice Girls' sound quality was so poor they could barely hear what song was being performed.
There were similar issues at their Croke Park gig in Dublin, which Mel B addressed after the gig saying;
‘Hey guys thank you for attending our show tonight in Dublin. We will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much, much better.’
One fan who walked out on the girls' Cardiff gig was Alison Powell, from Chepstow, Monmouthshire. Alice paid £70 for a ticket but ended up leaving 45 minutes early.
"It was really, really disappointing,"
she told BBC Radio Wales.
"You couldn't hear anything they were singing. The band drowned them out. You couldn't hear the harmonies, you couldn't hear the words."
She added:
When they started talking to each other and there was a bit of banter on stage, you just couldn't hear it. It left us totally flat, so flat that we actually left early - about three-quarters-of-an-hour before the end. We weren't the only ones leaving. People were saying they were also really disappointed."
Some fans have even demanded refunds for the gig.
@spicegirls you don’t ever come to Cardiff and rip off people again. You should publicly apologise, and reimburse the fans who were affected by the sound issues. It was lazy and fraudulent not to fix the sound issues after the gig in Ireland went so badly.
Apologise now!

In Cardiff The Spice Girls didn’t bother to fix any of the sound issues that affected their first show. The people who went to the concert are returning both wet and angry. @spicegirls & @principalitysta have ripped off tens of thousand of their fans tonight. They’re con artists.

Despite this, the negative reviews have been weighed up with positive ones, with many calling the shows "amazing".

Honestly, the @spicegirls were EVERYTHING in Cardiff tonight!!! It suddenly dawned on me that in all of these years of answering “Thierry Henry” to the “who did you look up to as a kid” question, I was lying all along pic.twitter.com/YEHjyg5hcy

What is the Spice Girls Sound is Bad in Cardiff row all about? It’s stadium sound. Who walks out of a gig after half an hour having paid the best part of £100? Nobody does. pic.twitter.com/FBWn6T4u3F
