High School Musical reunion
What time is it? Time to get the High School Musical cast back together for a massive sing-along!
Yep. That's right. The Wildcats are set to return for ABC's The Disney Family Singalong special.
They'll perform the iconic hit We're All In This Together.
Who will be involved?
Director of the original films, Kenny Ortega announced the news during the week.
Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel have all agreed to get involved.
In case you've already forgotten, that's Gabriella, Sharpay, Chad, Taylor and Ryan.

You might be wondering; is the captain of the East High Wildcats, Zac Efron (aka Troy Bolton) going to make an appearance?
Well, you'll be pleased to hear Zac has agreed to get involved.
According to Deadline, the Baywatch star will send a video message during the special.

Ortega told the publication, 'We couldn’t reach Zac until late but when we did, he immediately jumped in, of course.'
'Everyone we reached out to was quick — and you’ll see it in their spirit and the way they come together from their homes.'
'They recognise this is an opportunity to strengthen spirits for those joining us for the broadcast.'
Meanwhile, Gabriella Vanessa Hudgens shared a sneak peek behind the scenes of rehearsals in her home on Instagram.
She captioned the post, 'Had such a blast putting this together.'
'So special to come together with my HSM family during this time to spread some joy.'

The chosen song
The High School Musical cast will be joined by other Disney Channel stars for a performance of We're All In This Together.
That's So Raven's Raven-Symoné, The Descendants cast, Zombies and the High School Musical series will all be involved.
Ortega feels this is the perfect song choice given the current global pandemic.
The director said, 'I’ve been sent videos from doctors, orderlies, nurses and medical professionals in masks and hospital gowns singing ‘We’re All In This Together’ in the hallways of hospitals.'
'It’s a really nice fun coming together of a lot of young people that are banding together under the lyrics of this song for the show.'

'These artists that have come together are heroes. There are young people out there that look up to these people and have for a long time.'
'To see them in their own living rooms and in their sweatpants hanging out with their families helps everyone realize there’s truth behind these words — we’re all in this together in various circumstances. We need to feel that company.'
When?
Ryan Seacrest will host the show on American TV network ABC this Thursday night.
However, the performances should be posted online for us all to see after the fact.
