This Easter, Siamsa Tíre is offering a cracking line up of live entertainment and creative workshops for all to enjoy!  From comedy, to drama, music and family-friendly exhibitions and workshops, there's something for everyone to look forward to this season.

Gauranteed Laughs! Get ready for a weekend of comedy and side-splitting laughs and join Norma Sheahan on Friday 11th April for her touring show It’s Wine O’Clock, a laugh-out-loud performance perfect for kicking off your Easter celebrations! Then, on Saturday 12th April, Pat & Faye Shortt will close off their Irish tour of Knuckle Down, bringing a variety of vibrant characters to life in this riotous show.

For the Little Ones… Siamsa Tíre welcomes families with a wonderful Easter programme for children. On Thursday, April 10th at 10.30am we welcome local schools to the launch of The Beautiful Forest exhibition, featuring renowned children's author and illustrator Tatyana Feeney. The exhibition will be open throughout the Easter holidays and it allows children of all ages to explore her illustrated books and get creative with hands-on activities in a dedicated sensory corner.

To close off the exhibition, Tatyana will host a Creative Workshop on Saturday, April 24th at 11:00 am and 2:30 pm, where children can engage in forest-inspired art through doodling, pastel work, and collage. The children’s creations will come together to form a magical woodland masterpiece, proudly displayed in the Siamsa Tíre Art Gallery for all to enjoy.

Mindfulness for Kids! Help your child explore the benefits of mindfulness with the Good Vibes workshop, led by Renata Day on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:00 am. Through music, movement, yoga, and relaxation techniques, children will be introduced to mindfulness in a fun, accessible way. The session will end with a calming sound bath, promoting peace and well-being.

Crafty Fun As Gaeilge! On Wednesday, April 23rd, we’re delighted to welcome the return of Michelle Nic Gabhann, Kerry County Council’s Irish Officer, who will host free Easter-themed craft workshops in Irish. These fun sessions, suitable for children aged 4-10, will run at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Due to high demand, we're offering two workshops this time, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to explore Irish language and culture through creativity!

For the Grown-Ups… There’s plenty for adults to enjoy too! Our Adult Flower Arranging Workshop on April 22nd will help you create stunning floral displays, while on April 25th, Hothouse, a fast-paced intergenerational drama set on an Arctic cruise ship, is sure to captivate. We also have a special treat for folk music fans with Ralph McTell performing on April 26th, and the Easter celebrations will wrap up with a live performance by country legend Declan Nerney.
