Zach Braff & Donald Faison team up for new podcast series
Zach Braff and Donald Faison have teamed up for a Scrubs inspired podcast series titled Fake Doctors, Real Friends.
They played Dr. John 'J.D.' Dorian and Dr. Christopher Turk in Scrubs which ran from 2001 to 2010.
Their new podcast will see them reminisce on their time filming the medical sitcom.

Zach told EW what we can expect from the show, 'It's almost like DVD commentary.'
'We'll sit around and talk about funny stories and things we remember behind the scenes.'
And what's even more brilliant is that there'll be some guest appearances from the original cast and crew.
'We started thinking of doing this for the people who did watch the show...'
He added that it's for the fans, 'who are wondering what we're doing and how we're doing.'
'This is a great place to check-in and hopefully enjoying conversations between two best friends.'

The very first episode of Fake Doctors, Real Friends sees the pair look back at the pilot episode.
Zach told EW that re-watching that episode brought him back to his very first table read with the cast.
He admitted, 'I was very nervous.'
'Donald had worked a bunch already. I had some small things, but this was my big break.'
'I walked in and [Faison] turned around and gave me the biggest smile and just came towards me, gave me a hug.'
Zach said, 'It was really just so warm and inviting and we've been hugging ever since.'
