The story follows the journey of a woman going through her memories of growing up with her sister, as she searches for a thoughtful gift.
In the ad we see the woman's sister at different stages in time – from being a child to a teen and even becoming a mother for the first time.
The John Lewis advert has became a yearly tradition to kick start the Christmas period by pulling on peoples heartstrings... and this year is no different!
