Hugo & Amy on Love Island: Aftersun
Love Island's Hugo and Amy had a bit of an awkward tiff on Sunday night's Aftersun with Laura Whitmore.

Let's take it right back to the beginning, when Hugo and Amy met for the first time in Casa Amor.
On their first night there, she chose to share a bed with Tyler, before he moved on with Clarisse.
She hit it off with Hugo and he chose to recouple with her, bringing her home to the main villa.

They soon found their romance had fizzled out, and she accused him of not putting the effort in.
When they were dumped from the Island, he described his quest to find love in the villa as, "tragic."
Amy's eyes went wide in shock when he made that comment.
Amy says he's, 'fake'
Later, in her exit interview, she branded him, 'fake.'
She said, 'I tried. I was being 100% genuine and real and I was a little bit messed around, but I loved the experience.'
'I’ve definitely learned what I don’t want and how I should be treated in a relationship.'

When asked how she feels about him now, she simply replied, 'fake.'
'Because he wasn’t telling me that he didn’t like me. I do wish I’d opened up and re-coupled with someone else.'
'Also, 100% I did not sleep with Hugo,' she very randomly added.

Aftersun
On Sunday night's Aftersun, the former flames appeared on video chat for an interview with Laura Whitmore.
He was asked about their relationship in the villa, and he admitted, "it was great at the start."
But added that it was, "your case of a typical lads holiday."

Hugo said when they arrived home to the main villa, "things just weren't the same."
"Communication on both parts potentially wasn't as clear as it could have been and that's why we're in the position we're in now."
Laura then introduced Amy to share her side of the story.

Amy slams Hugo
When asked how she's doing, she said, "I'm cracking now to be out and away from Hugo really!"
Amy shared her Casa Amor story, insisting she walked onto the show very open-minded.
"Everyone was attractive so I just knew that any sort of feelings would be clear when I actually met all the lads."

Amy said there was an, "instant connection between her and Hugo when they first met."
Laura reflected on Hugo's, "job done," comment after they shared their first kiss.
When asked her thoughts on this, Amy said, "I mean, I think Hugo's just terrible with women."

"I just don't think he knows what to say."
When asked what changed between them, Amy said, "I think to sum it up, Hugo says that he wants to stay true to himself, can you not be true to everyone else at the same time?"
Responding to this, Hugo said it's, "sad," that it's ended like this.

He said, "I don't agree with a lot of the stuff you're saying, obviously."
"But if that's the way you feel, that's the way you feel."
Regrets
Laura asked Amy if she regrets putting all her eggs in Hugo's basket and she replied, "110%."

Hugo was asked his biggest regret in the villa, and he insisted he has none.
He said, "I was myself, I stood up for what I believed in and I [left] with my head held high after such a fantastic journey meeting so many fantastic people."

Amy was asked the same question and she replied, "I regret sticking with Hugo, in a nutshell."
When asked if they could be friends, the pair stayed silent for a couple seconds before Hugo chimed in.
He said, "I don't know, Amy's clearly got a strong opinion."

"But I think people are forgetting that Amy chose to stay in Tyler's bed on night one so she probably wasn't into me from the start and I just felt like a green card to the villa."
Amy hit back, "That is the first time you've said that, how funny."
