Florence Pugh addresses online trolls
Little Women star Florence Pugh has had enough of online trolling.
The actress shared a video on Instagram addressing those who have been criticising her relationship with Zach Braff.
Many feel the 45-year-old Scrubs star is far too old to be dating the 24-year-old Black Widow actress.

Florence has been dating Zach for about a year now and she's so done with the incessant criticism.
However, it wasn't until she paid tribute to him on Instagram for his 45th birthday this week that she reached tipping point.
The actress had to turn off comments on the post because the trolling got out of hand.

Addressing the trolls
Florence shared a video on Instagram addressing the trolls who left, "horrid," comments under the post.
She said, "It is the first time in my entire Instagram life that I've had to turn off the comments on my page."
"I have never been an Instagram page that encourages that. I have never been an Instagram page that likes that toxic vibe."

The actress went on to say that she, "will not allow that behaviour on [her] page," before adding, "I'm not about that."
"It makes me upset, it makes me sad that during this time when we really all need to be together, we need to be supporting one another."
"We need to be loving one another, the world is aching and the world is dying and a few of you have decided to bully for no reason."

Florence pointed out, "I'm 24 years old, I have been working since I was 17-years-old."
"I have been earning money since I was 17-years-old, I became an adult when I was 18-years-old."
"And I started paying taxes when I was 18-years-old, I underline this fact, I am 24-years-old."

The Fighting with My Family actress went on to make a very powerful statement.
She said, "I do not need you tell me who I should and should not love and I would never in my life ever tell anyone who they can and cannot love."
"It is not your place, and really it has nothing to do with you..."

The solution
And how does Florence plan on putting an end to the abuse? Well, she's asking those unwilling to be kind, to simply un-follow her.
"Because the abuse you throw at him is abuse you're throwing at me and I don't want those followers."
"And I don't want to have to be protecting my comments every time I post a picture of him."

She went on, "I really hope that I can continue this relationship with a lot of you..."
Florence hopes she can, "keep on cooking... keep on dancing," and, "keep on singing," with her fans.
Being hateful is not trendy
Florence went on to point out that being hateful is not trendy.
She said, "It's embarrassing, it's sad, and I don't know when cyber-bullying became trendy."
"I don't know when it became a point system, I don't know why it's a cool thing, and that's never been what my page has been about."

Florence wrapped up, "So, here's to you guys, and I hope that we can keep on being positive."
"And to those who do not agree with anything that I have just said I kindly ask that you un-follow me because that is not my page."
"Be safe, try and be positive during all of this, and I'll see you soon."
