Taylor Swift's publicist has her say
Taylor Swift's publicist Tree Paine has hit out at Kim Kardashian online.
It's after the reality star responded to the leaked footage of Kanye West's phone call with Taylor by branding the singer a liar.

In 2016, seven years after Kanye stole Taylor's thunder at the VMAs, he released a song called Famous.
The track sparked major controversy for its lyrics, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x / Why? I made that bi**h famous."
Understandably, Taylor was less than impressed by Kanye branding her a, "bi**h," in the song.

Kanye came out to say Taylor had given her seal of approval on the lyrics prior to its release.
So Taylor responded through her publicist Tree Paine, 'Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single Famous on her Twitter account.'
'She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.'
'Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bi**h famous.’'

Kim gets involved
Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian later released a snippet of footage showing a phone call that took place between Kanye and Taylor prior to the track's release.
It showed the rapper getting permission from Taylor to use the derogatory language about her in his song.
After Kim released this footage, Taylor faced wide-spread criticism and even stepped away from social media for some time.

Over the weekend, the alleged full 25 minute footage of Taylor's phone call with Kanye emerged online.
It revealed Taylor had been telling the truth the whole time and that she never agreed to being called a, 'bi**h,' in the song.

Kim has since released a series of tweets in response to the leaked footage.
The reality star wrote, 'To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that “Kanye never called to ask for permission...”'
'They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word “bi**h” was used without her permission.'

Kim added that she never edited the footage of Kanye's phone call with Taylor.
'I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative.'

Tree Paine's response
Tree Paine responded to this on Twitter by sharing her, 'UNEDITED original statement.'
Hitting out at Kim, Paine wrote, 'Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing.'
She added, 'P.S. who did you guys pi** off to leak that video?'
I’m Taylor’s publicist and this is my UNEDITED original statement. Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing.
P.S. who did you guys piss off to leak that video? 😂😂😂 https://t.co/AtMGUp3t24 pic.twitter.com/EjGDwAdL6O
