Taylor Swift to pay record store staff's salaries
Taylor Swift has taken it upon herself to pay the salaries and healthcare costs for the staff at a Nashville record store.
It's after the small business was forced to close its doors amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The city holds a special place in the singer's heart ever since moved there at a very young age to pursue a career in music.

The store's buyer, Will Orman added, 'It’s incredibly heartening and totally surreal that Taylor Swift has offered to help us out in such a significant way.'
'With so much uncertainty about what lies ahead, we’re deeply grateful to be able to look forward to returning to the store and continuing to share music and connect with our community, thanks to Taylor’s generous support.'
Taylor's generosity spreads further
This isn't the first generous donation Taylor has made amid the current pandemic.
She sent a struggling fan $3,000 to help cover the costs of living in New York City during this stressful time.
Taylor's follower, Holly Turner shared the news of Taylor's generous donation on Twitter.
The singer left a note that read, 'Holly, you’ve always been there for me.'
'I want to be there for you right now. I hope this helps. Love, Taylor.'
i made a post on tumblr about how i was scared i wouldn't be able to stay living in NYC because of what corona has done to the music industry. @taylorswift13 literally single-handedly saved my ability to stay here. i cannot even believe my eyes right now pic.twitter.com/3hAxkSVvGo

She did the same for another fan who had just lost her 'dream job' because of the virus.
The Cats star DM'd her, 'I'm so sorry things are tough right now and I'd like to gift you $3000 to ease that strain.'
'Can you please send the email address for your PayPal account?'
In summary: I’m shaking and crying and just fell over a rug in my rush to ask my brother if Taylor’s message was real &now I’m probably (definitely) concussed❣️♥️
