It looks like the 'The Big Bang Theory' is going from strength to strength these days. Not only are the cast in talks to take the show into it’s 11th season, now it has been confirmed that Sheldon is getting his own spin-off.
CBS, the network behind the popular show have commissioned a new season called ‘Young Sheldon’ which will tell the story of a 9 year old Sheldon Cooper living in Texas. It will be created by the Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro, who are behind other shows like ‘Two and a Half Men’ and the Emmy winning series ‘Mom’
The spin-off will hit our TV screens in the 2017-18 season, which according to E! News could be around September time.
Zoe Perry will play the role of his his mom, a part which was made famous by Laurie Metcalf in the main show. Jim Parsons will also be involved in the new series, as narrator.
The news comes amid reports that the main cast of 'the Big Bang Theory', including Kaley Cuoco are willing to take a pay cut in order to ensure an increase for costars Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch.
No further details about the Shelton spin-off are available yet, but for now lets look back at some of his bets bits.
