Davina Potratz is leaving The Oppenheim Group
Selling Sunset's Davina Potratz has announced she's leaving The Oppenheim Group.
She told People Magazine this week that she's joining rival brokerage Douglas Elliman in Beverly Hills.
Davina revealed she has connections in the brokerage that offered her a deal she couldn't refuse.
'I’m really excited to be a part of Douglas Elliman and their very sophisticated and global new development division.'
She continued, 'My background is in new development sales and marketing, so this is just a wonderful opportunity for me.'
'It’s just very in tune with my skills,' the real estate agent added.
Jason's response to the news
Founder of The Oppenheim Group, Jason Oppenheim, showed his support for Davina in a statement to People.
He said, 'Davina has always been a tremendous asset and a valued agent at The Oppenheim Group, and she is also a friend whose career decisions I very much respect and support.'
'I will always want the best for Davina, and I hope that we continue to work together in the future.'
Davina said Jason, 'was sad,' when she told him, 'but he absolutely understands.'
She also believes her former colleagues will be, 'excited and supportive,' of her decision.
'It’s not that I wanted to leave, but I had a great opportunity. It was a purely business decision,' she clarified.

Despite her departure from The Oppenheim Group, Davina hopes she'll still appear on Selling Sunset.
She told People, 'I certainly hope that I’m still part of the cast.'
'Brett is not at The Oppenheim Group anymore either, so I don’t think that that’s going to be an issue at all.'
Where is Brett going?
One of the group's agents, Christine Quinn spilled the beans of Brett's departure with Glamour Magazine in August.
She told them, 'Brett has left to start his own brokerage.'
The real estate agent hinted the upcoming fourth season could reveal, 'the battle of the brokerages!'
However, Brett's brother Jason slammed the claims in an interview with Lorraine the following month.
When asked if the reports were, "nonsense," he replied, "It is unfortunately."
"I know that that would create for some interesting press."
Jason continued, "I think Christine tried to fan those flames."
He insisted, "No, [Brett's] not starting his own brokerage and hiring agents and competing, we're still working together."
