The actress was so disappointed because she had a massive crush on his brother Cole at the time.
She admits, "That was one of the worst days of my life."
Selena opens up about the incident during a chat on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
She talks about how she recently visited her childhood home.
The artist found a quote she had written on her closet door as a teenager was still there.

Selena tells Kelly, "I had written in the closets that I was in love with Cole Sprouse."
She admits she was obsessed with The Suite Life of Zack & Cody at the time.
Speaking about her crush on Cole, Selena admits, "I thought we were gonna be together."
She goes on, "Then I guest starred on the show but I kissed his brother and I didn't get to kiss Cole."
Selena makes the revelation that it was her first kiss.
The Lose You To Love Me singer laughs, "It was one of the worst days of my life."
Cole responded to Selena's comments under one of Teen Vogue's latest Instagram posts.
He tagged his brother Dylan and wrote, 'can safely say I’ve never had a girl say this about me.'
Meanwhile, Niall Horan has branded rumours of a romance with Selena, "absolute useless nonsense."
