Ryan Reynolds online petition
A petition has been set up demanding that a street in Vancouver be named after their, 'hometown hero,' Ryan Reynolds.
However, the actor is against the idea, and his reason will make you laugh.
A Vancouver radio station started the petition.
The description reads, 'Not only has he captured our hearts on the big screen, his humanitarian efforts have made him a beloved local treasure who encapsulates the best of Vancouverites, and fully deserving of this recognition in his hometown.'
They went on to list the many admirable initiatives Ryan has been part of this year alone.
#TheKevinAndSoniaShow's petition is gaining steam!

Ryan's response
However, the Deadpool actor himself is completely against the idea.
Ryan replied, 'Very kind but hard pass.'
But why wouldn't he want a street in his home city named after him? Well, it turns out he has a very valid reason.
He explained, 'If traffic sucks everyone will say, “Ryan Reynolds is a mess” or “Ryan Reynolds is really backed up”.'
'My brothers would enjoy this too much.'
