Rachel McAdams on reprising her role in Mean Girls
Rachel McAdams has said she'd love to play Regina George again in a Mean Girls sequel.
She made the revelation during a live stream chat for Canada's Heroes Of Health: COVID-19.
Rachel said, "It would be fun to play Regina George later in her life and see where life took her."
She also described the film's success as, "really bizarre."
The Notebook actress said, "I feel so lucky to be a part of something that’s stuck around even a little bit."
She admitted, "That’s never something I imagined happening in life."
As for the film's message, Rachel hopes it inspires girls to be kinder.
She said, "Let's hope Mean Girls has helped girls be nicer to each other, and not the other way around."

What does Lindsay Lohan think?
Rachel's remarks come shortly after her Mean Girls co-star Lindsay Lohan expressed her interest in a sequel.
During a chat with David Spade on his Lights Out show, Lindsay admitted it's something she's wanted for a long time.
She said, "I think I was hanging on to [Mean Girls] for a really long time."
Lindsay went on, "I wanted to come back with a Mean Girls 2."
"To work with Tina [Fey], and the whole crew again, and [director] Mark Waters."
"That was really what I wanted. I was excited to do that. But that’s all in their hands, really."
It was announced in January that the movie will return in the form of a musical.
