Paul Mescal deletes Instagram
Normal People star Paul Mescal has deleted his Instagram account and fans are devastated.
According to reports, he quit social media to focus on his work and his personal life.
A source told The Sun, 'Paul deactivated his Instagram account because it just became a drain.'
'He felt like he was wasting time on there, reading the comments is no good for anyone's mental health.'
The Irish actor boasted a following of over one million thanks to his success on Normal People.
The Sun's insider claims there are, 'more important things,' that deserve Paul's attention right now.
He's apparently putting his time and energy into, 'his personal life and his work.'
The source added, 'he doesn’t need social media for that.'
'He’s a private guy and doesn’t feel the need to share everything online,' the insider continued.
'But Paul knows it does mean he won't be able to cash in on lucrative offers for massive brand tie-ins.'
'...he just doesn’t feel it is worthwhile at this point.'
'He might reactivate his page in the future but he’s enjoying his time away from it.'
The Connell actor's Twitter account is still active, but he hasn't posted anything on it since August 2020.
Meanwhile, Phoebe Bridgers gushed over Paul in a new interview.
It follows rumours the pair are secretly dating.
