Millie Bobby Brown's team have released a statement following crude remarks made by TikToker Hunter Ecimovic.
The social media personality spoke about their alleged relationship in detail during an Instagram Live this week.
And his comments sparked uproar among her fans.

While his account has been deactivated, clips from the Instagram Live are being shared around social media.
According to E! News, Hunter addressed his relationship with Millie on the live chat after photos of them appeared online.
It's reported the pictures were taken last year, when she was 16 and he was 20.

In the video, as reported by E!, the now 21-year-old gave graphic descriptions of their alleged sexual relationship.
Many took to the comments section, reminding him of the age difference and slamming him for speaking so publicly about it.

Hunter apologises for the live stream
The social media star has since released a video on TikTok apologising for his words.
"It should have never happened in the first place, that was a stupid idea on my part..." he said of going live.
"I probably live streamed for about two to three hours and in those two to three hours, I was getting more and more drunk."

The social media star said the negative backlash in the comments irritated him.
And that mixed with the alcohol made him, "careless."

Hunter claimed the short clips of the live session doing the rounds online make it look, "10 times worse."
He said there are fake stories going around, "it's all being fabricated."

In the comments of the video, Hunter addressed the backlash over their age difference.
He said, '4 years isn't a big deal. I never groomed her. I never put pressure on her to like me?'

Millie Bobby Brown's team speak out
The 17-year-old's team have since released the following statement to E! News:
'Mr. Ecimovic's remarks on social media are not only dishonest, but also are irresponsible, offensive and hateful.'
'Instead of engaging in a public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behavior once and for all.'
