Meghan Markle is reportedly in crisis talks with the palace after her father requested the Queen settle their family feud.
Thomas Markle appeared in an interview with 'Good Morning Britain' yesterday with the request.
"I would appreciate anything she could do. I would think she would want to resolve family problems."
"All families, royal or otherwise, are the same and they should all be together – certainly around the holidays."
"I would really appreciate if she would just call me, reach out to me somehow, send me a text, just say you're there and you're hearing me."
The Mirror has reported that the royals are 'enraged and yet exhausted' with the whole situation believing he's 'gone a step too far.'
A source revealed to the publication that "Even if [the Queen] disagreed with the way her grandson’s wife or indeed her staff were dealing with the matter, she would certainly not become involved on this level."
When asked by Piers Morgan why he thinks his daughter has closed the door on him he said, "She has always been a very controlling person and that is part of her nature but she has never been rude. She has always been in charge."
"I've been ghosted. I'm not sure why it's happening. I love my daughter very much. I wish she would reach out, send me a text, anything. There has to be a place for me. I'm her father."
In a message to his daughter he said, "I love you very much. I would like to hear from you. Whatever difficulties we've had I hope we can work through them. We're family."
