The dancer explains, 'I’ve been with women and I’m with a woman now. It’s a cliche to say, but love is blind.'
'I can never ever say what will happen in the future. I wouldn’t rule anything out.'
In an interview with Christine Lampard on Lorraine, he addressed his comments.
"I spoke to Maura last night because we saw it and basically I'm happy with Maura... I can see a future with Maura..."
"We both said the same thing sort of... Maura's head is clear and my head is clear on where we're going."
Curtis talks Love Island
Curtis goes on to talk about his relationship with Maura and says he's glad they didn't get intimate on the show.
'It was worth the wait. I’m glad we did it away from the cameras, but that’s all I’ll say, as a gentleman never kisses and tells.'

He reveals, 'I never felt pressured to have sex on TV. I didn’t want to show off Maura to the world.'
'I was absolutely fine talking about sex, but actually performing it in front of people was next-level stuff.'
Curtis shares, 'Maura understood that and said we were lucky that I have a strong willpower.'
'At times you did want to let go under the covers, so I had to remind myself that there were cameras on us.'
'It’s human instinct, it’s natural — we’re put on this planet to reproduce, it’s part of us. It was hard not to do it.'

Curtis gushes over Maura
It's safe to say Curtis is crazy about the model, 'It’s the simple little things which make me like her even more...'
'Like being in the car singing along to music together, or going on a walk around the forest.'
He gushes, 'She does so many cute things, like I was lying on the bed, really tired, and she walked past and undid my shoelaces and took my shoes off.'
'I feel like we’ve got so much closer. I’m not seeing anyone else.'

Curtis and Maura
The pair met on this year's series of Love Island and made it all the way to the final.
Curtis had originally been coupled up with Amy in the villa.

Maura had been in a few different couplings at this stage but hadn't found anyone she truly connected with.
When Amy and Curtis split, she told him she had feelings for him.
This came as a surprise to pretty much everyone.
Just as Curtis and Maura were getting to know each other on a deeper level, new girl Francesca made an entrance.
The dancer wanted to keep seeing Maura while also getting to know Francesca.
He soon discovered his feelings for Maura were much stronger than his feelings for Francesca.
