Brad and Lucinda were voted the least compatible couple in a public vote last week.
As a result, they had to choose between themselves which one of them goes home and which one of them stays.
Brad insisted she stay and he go, and Laura wanted to know if there was any part of him hoping she'd leave too.
As quoted by MailOnline, he replied, "I didn't really think too much into it."
"The next day, I wish I had said a bit more but you just didn't get the time."
Brad also revealed that he was in competition with Hugo and Aaron for Lucinda's affections.

He said, "Me, Aaron and Hugo were all into Lucinda. To be fair, who isn't?"
"We all had a three horse race and I came out on top and she didn't swerve me, did she?" Brad joked.
The former Islander was referring to when Lucinda dodged Aaron's kiss on last night's episode.
Lucinda and Aaron
When Brad left the villa, Lucinda and Aaron really hit it off.
Everything was going well until new boy Danny made his appearance and chose to recouple with Lucinda.
Last night, during a chat on the bean bags, Aaron told Lucinda he had no problem kissing her in front of Danny.
But when he leaned in, she pulled away.
Dumped Islander Rachel Finni also appeared on last night's episode of Aftersun.
She spoke about how her decision to recouple with Brad over Chuggs lead to her being dumped from the villa.
Rachel said, "The honest truth is, both guys admitted to me that I wasn't their particular type."
"There wasn't anything more special with Brad, I picked him because I was more attracted to him."
"I knew I'd be a placeholder, I was a placeholder for Brad to get Lucinda," she said.

"I wish I gave myself as much of an opportunity as I gave other people. I would've gone for Aaron."
She also admitted Aaron's interest in Lucinda surprised her.
"Never in a million years, that was completely shocking to me and I felt so bad for him when she swerved his kiss," she told Laura.
