Love Island cut one of Brett's scenes
Brett Staniland has revealed Love Island cut out one of his scenes after he begged them not to air it.
He made the revelation during a chat with Chelsea McGehee on IGTV.

Brett admitted it can sometimes get, "a bit much," knowing you're constantly being monitored by cameras.
So he found himself regularly speaking to a psychiatrist and the welfare team.
"Even on good days and bad days just to like check in," he explained.

The Islander remembered one particular day when he really, "struggled," and was conscious he had overshared a very personal story about his life.
"I just really needed to speak to someone, and they were great with me," Brett said.
"[They] helped me realise like how I am with sharing and stuff like that so it was good, they're on hand all the time."

He added that he approached production and said, "I’m really adamant on this not being shown, please."
Brett recalled, "They were like, 'yeah, we’ve got the conversation, it’s not going to be aired, you’ve got nothing to worry about.'"

Brett made his bombshell appearance later in the series, and ended up re-coupling with Priya.
However, their romance fizzled out when she started getting, "the ick."
Priya and Brett were dumped during an incompatibility vote in the villa.
