Liam Payne addresses his viral Oscars interview
He went viral for an interview he did with Good Morning Britain after the Oscars, and now, Liam Payne is finally addressing it.

In the clip, Liam was asked his opinion of the Will Smith and Chris Rock Oscars altercation.
Many criticised the singer, not for his response, but for his accent (or accents).
He didn't sound a thing like himself!

In an Instagram Live, Liam defended his corner, "I’m good at accents, I pride myself on them!"
"I just wish sometimes I could do my own," he joked.
"What can I say about that really? It was quite funny."

Liam revealed, "I had asked Good Morning Britain, the presenter, I said, 'Please don’t ask me too much because I’ve had a lot to drink and I’m under-ly educated about the Oscars.'"
"The very first question the man asked me was, 'What do you think about Will Smith?'"

"Now can you imagine... imagine being put on the spot in that moment and knowing, 'I can’t say anything wrong because I’m gonna upset someone,' and I just did the best I could."
Liam said he stands by his response, but he's, "sorry it came out in so many accents!"

The artist also noted that his accent often changes depending on who he's hanging around with.
