Laura Anderson moves to Dubai
Love Island's Laura Anderson has moved to Dubai.
She announced the news on Instagram, and said she kept quiet about it over fears she'd face backlash online.
It's after she came under fire earlier in the year for travelling there amid the pandemic.

Laura's sister and niece live in Dubai, and she previously said they're her, "whole life."
The former Islander posted a series of photos of her new life in the city on Instagram.
She captioned it, 'I’m sorry for my recent radio silence.'

Laura continued, 'I’m not sure if anyone noticed over the past few weeks that I shared significantly less of myself on social media.'
'Sometimes being in the public eye, there can be a lot pressure to share every aspect of your life, like yesterday!'
'As you may have guessed, I have moved my life (and of course wee Buddy) back to my old home Dubai.'

Laura's at her, 'happiest right now'
She said she hopes the accompanying photos will help people understand that she's at her, 'happiest right now...'
Laura admitted she was, 'hesitant to share this big life decision,' with her followers in fear of facing backlash online.
The reality star is asking her followers for their, 'continued support.'

Previous backlash
Laura came under fire earlier this year for travelling to Dubai amid the pandemic, while the UK was still in lockdown.
She defended herself on the Talking Success podcast, and ended up breaking down crying over the stress of it all.

The influencer admitted, "This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with."
"It was so hard to stick up for myself. I understand the whole pandemic, I am not you know, some silly little girl."
She insisted she travelled, "during the UK’s approval of an air bridge."

Although she added, "I don’t think the UK should have had an air bridge."
"But they did and as I say, I'm only one person."
She went on to reveal, "I am not very close with my mum, I just have my dad here."

"My sister is probably my whole life, you know, my niece, and they're in Dubai."
In addition to reuniting with her family, Laura said she was working over there.
