Lana Condor talks To All The Boys success
To All The Boys actress Lana Condor has admitted she suffered, 'mentally,' following the success of the first movie.
She told Self Magazine that she was taking on too much, and it resulted in her crying down the phone to her management team.
Lana said the movie was, 'received way better than I had ever imagined in my wildest dreams.'
Everything in her life changed pretty quickly after its release in 2018.
She was promoting the movie on the weekend and working on a TV show midweek.

'I was just saying yes to everything because it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you want to capitalise on it, and you want to feel like you're fully embracing everything.'
'But I've never felt more horrible mentally. I was so burned out....' Lana admitted.
She continued, 'I would go home at night and I couldn't speak. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep.'
Lana revealed, 'I would shake going to bed and shake waking up because it was just so much stimulation.'
Eventually, it all became too much for her, and she broke down crying on the phone to her team.

'No one knew'
Lana recalled, 'I was on the phone with my team and I had this moment where I just was in tears, telling them that I don't feel okay.'
'And they were all shocked because I wasn't open about my feelings.'
'No one knew,' the 23-year-old revealed.
She continued, 'When I had that conversation with them, it was like a new beginning. Now I know the power of sharing that.'
'My mom and my dad are so supportive and we've had conversations about, 'Lana, you need to stop. You're clearly unhappy.''
'My parents have been a great sounding board.'
