It's hard to believe that anything other than positive comments could have come out of Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime show performance. But then you remember that Twitter trolls are alive and kicking, and it brings you right back to reality.
Gaga was mocked on social media for having a "pot belly" on Sunday night. In true Gaga style, she's not taking the criticism lying down. She took to Instagram earlier today with the following message for those you have body shamed her.
I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions. thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys. Xoxo, gaga

Before this, she had taken to Twitter to thank her fans and said "I wanted to make you smile at halftime & maybe give you 1 new dream u haven't had".

A Twitter user perfectly summed up the ridiculousness of body shaming Gaga, painting a picture of what the trolls were probably doing while commenting on her body.
