The Irish have done it again!
Our very own Saoirse Ronan and Irish rap trio Kneecap are among the stars nominated for the 2025 BAFTA Film Awards.
Saoirse has been nominated for Best Leading Actress for her role in The Outrun, which has also been longlisted for Outstanding British Film.
Meanwhile, Kneecap are up for 6 awards including recognition for Outstanding British Film, Outstanding Debut, Film Not in the English Language, Original Screenplay, Casting (Carla Stronge), and Editing (Julian Ulrichs, Chris Gill).
Elsewhere, Emilia Pérez has the most nominations with 15 nods, The Substance, The Brutalist and A Complete Unknown each landed on 11, with Wicked and Dune: Part Two on 10 and Anora and Gladiator 2 on nine.
The ceremony will take place the 16th of February, and will be hosted by David Tennant for the second time.
