Following her split from Kanye West, rumours emerged that Kim Kardashian was dating CNN host Van Jones.
It wasn't long before they shut down speculation, insisting they're just friends and colleagues.

Now, a year on, the pair have addressed the commotion on his podcast Uncommon Ground With Van Jones.
"Now that we're broken up, we can actually have a conversation in public," he joked, adding that it was the, "Best rumor ever."
"So many people asked me, I was like, 'You guys… I need a minute before I'm out there.'"
Van added, "I know it was so weird."
"But I tell you being a big nerd, having all my guys from college calling thinking I was like the hero."
"I was like, ‘No, we're just working on trying to get people outta prison.' But it was a cool rumor."

Van is not only a reporter for CNN, but he's also an author, and a lawyer.
According to MailOnline, he worked with Kim in 2018 to successfully get Alice Johnson pardoned from a life sentence.
It followed a 1996 conviction on nonviolent drug charges.
