Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have split after nearly a year together according to E! News.
In a statement the pair said "Before rumours or falsifications get out of hand we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time."
It comes as a shock after the pair attended the Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party on Sunday night together and posed for pictures.
Katy has just released her new single 'Chained to the Rhythm' and it's reported that she wants to put her time and attention into music over the next a year or so.
One source said, "Katy is going to release a new album soon and will go on tour after that. It will take up about a year of her life, and right now it's best if she and Orlando spend some time apart."
The pair confirmed their romance last March and were pictured together on holiday a number of times over the summer. The split has come as a shock to most people in Hollywood, as they seemed very happy on Sunday night when they were out together.
Orlando posted this picture to his Snapchat on Sunday with the caption "a mighty heart".
