Kanye West's Twitter spree
Last night, Kanye West went on a Twitter spree slamming record labels for claiming ownership of artist's music.
He shared screenshots of private contracts, and called on performers like Taylor Swift, Drake, and Bono for support.
The rapper even posted a video of himself urinating on a Grammy Award.
90% of the record contracts on the planet are still on a royalty A standard record deal is a trap to NEVER have you recoup, and there’s all these hidden costs like the “distribution fees” many labels put in their contracts to make even more money off our work without even trying.

Kanye has been taking aim at Universal and Sony in particular.
As per MailOnline, he declared on Monday that he would not be releasing any more music until they freed him from their contracts.
Later in the week, he took to Twitter to address the contracts black NBA players are under.
Kanye wrote, 'The music industry and the NBA are modern day slave ships. I'm the new Moses'.
'There is no NBA or music industry without black people... fair contracts matter... ownership matters.'
Amid last night's Twitter rant, Kanye shared screenshots of a private contract he signed with Universal in 2011.
When he finally had all the pages uploaded, he tweeted, 'Whew that was a lot guys'
In another tweet, he said, 'I wonder if Universal gonna call me ... I promise I have more ideas ... I will not stop I PROMISE YOU ON GOD'
