JC Stewart on SPIN
SPIN's Tara Walsh caught up with JC Stewart for a chat following the release of his latest single Love Like That.
He spoke about the track, meeting Courteney Cox for the first time, hanging out with The Kid Laroi and much more.
JC wrote Love Like That as an apology for putting work ahead of the people who matter most in his life.
Tara asked him how he stays grounded in this industry and he admitted it actually comes easy to him.
"I don't think it's crazy hard to stay grounded, I've got the same friends I've had for the last 10 years."

"I've got my girlfriend... I don't really do much except for go to the studio and come home and watch Netflix with my friends."
"There's not many showbiz parties and stuff going on," he laughed.
Tara asked the singer how everyone at home in Northern Ireland has been reacting to his success.

"I don't go home as much as I'd love to. It's really nice."
"You don't realise that everybody's kind of following what you do and they're really happy for me."
"I mean it lasts about five minutes before people start ripping into me again so it's good," JC said.

Celebrity run-ins
The 25-year-old has had a few run-ins with celebrity A-listers and he admitted to Tara he was a bit starstruck at times.
"I've stopped trying to be cool and I'm like, 'oh my goodness.'"
The artist was in L.A. recently where he met The Kid Laroi for the first time.

"The Kid Laroi drinks beer with a straw. There's your exclusive for you. I was like, 'Come on man... that's crazy,'" he joked.
JC also met Courteney Cox, which was a real full circle moment for him after going viral for his pandemic inspired twist of the Friends theme song in 2020.
His video went so viral that Jennifer Aniston even shared it on Instagram.

But the Northern Irish star revealed Courteney hadn't actually seen his viral hit.
"She had no idea about it until somebody brought it up to her and then it got a bit weird."
JC had to explain it to her and he admitted, "it was a really cool moment."

Tara asked if he had met Jennifer Aniston and he said, "No, hopefully soon!"
JC added that the Rachel Green actress never even reached out to him after posting his video on her page: "She didn't even tag me in it!"
