James Corden was back on the Late Late show last night after the Christmas break and during his opening monologue he decided to take the opportunity to pay tribute to his friend George Michael, who passed away on Christmas night.
The pair worked together on the first ever Carpool Karaoke, which was originally a sketch for Comic Relief back in 2011. The host spoke about how George had no problem taking part in the then unknown video. He also revealed that when trying to hunt stars for his CBS show, they would send out the video of James and George to the likes of Mariah Carey in a bid to win them over.
