Jada Pinkett Smith speaks out
On the latest episode of Red Table Talk, Jada Pinkett Smith and her family discuss the devastating impact Alopecia can have on someone's life.
But before they get into it, Jada addresses what happened at the Oscars between her husband Will and comedian Chris Rock.
Chris was presenting on stage at the Oscars when he made a joke about Jada's buzzcut.
Will got so mad that he stormed on stage and slapped him right across the face before returning to his seat and yelling at him from the audience.
As a result of his actions, Will was issued a 10 year ban from attending all Academy events.
On Red Table Talk, Jada, who's struggled with alopecia for years, said:
"Considering my own health and what happened at the Oscars, thousands have reached out to me with their stories."
"I'm using this moment to give our alopecia family the opportunity to talk about what it's like to have this condition."

"And to inform people about what alopecia actually is."
She continued, "Now, about Oscars night: My deepest hope is that these two intelligent capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile."
"With the state of the world today, we need them both - and we all actually need one another more than ever."
"Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that's keep figuring out this thing called life together."
