Jack Fowler on his secret illness
Love Island's Jack Fowler has revealed he suffered from a serious illness earlier this year.
The reality star was told he had transverse myelitis, leaving him paralysed in his legs and left arm for weeks.
Jack made the revelation during a chat with the Oxford Union.
He shared the news of his secret illness as a way of revealing how fake social media is.
As quoted by The Sun, Jack insisted, 'Instagram, social media is absolutely fake.'
'I was in a wheelchair for two or three weeks'
The former Islander revealed, 'At the start of this year, no one knows this, I had something called transverse myelitis.'
'I lost all movement in my legs and my left arm, paralysed, I was in a wheelchair for two or three weeks.'
Jack added, 'On my Instagram I was having a wicked time, I was having a great time.'

He continued, 'I was in Dubai, I was in Thailand for all of the two weeks because that's the 'gram making it look like that.'
'But realistically, I wasn't. I was going through the hardest time of my life,' the star admitted.

Jack was rushed to hospital in December last year, but it's unclear whether these two instances are related.
