Jack Fincham responds to backlash
Love Island's Jack Fincham came under fire recently after fans noticed his dog Elvis' ears were cropped.
Taking to social media last night, he addressed the criticism.

Last month, Jack shared a cute selfie with his dog on Instagram.
He captioned it, 'Me and my best pal rolling on the train solo.'
'Always by my side dunno what I’d do without you.'

After noticing the dog's ears were cropped, many took to the comments section to quiz Jack on it.
One person even decided to unfollow the reality star.
They wrote, 'Dog ears are cropped....it’s illegal in the uk. Dogs are getting imported like this. Sad as.'

Jack has since taken to Instagram with a video addressing the situation.
He captioned it, 'I do not condone ear cropping on dogs'
'Here is the story behind me and my beautiful Cane Corso Elvis. He is a rescue dog,' Jack began.

He continued, 'I am a huge animal lover and anybody that knows me knows this.'
'I own 4 other dogs along with Elvis , 3 of which are rescues the other a gift.'
'Me and my family have rescued many dogs over the years even my grandads lovely dog was rescued from Greece.'

Adopt, don't shop
Jack is urging his followers, 'to adopt and not shop.'
'I hope this clears up any concerns that I do not condone ear cropping and tail docking for aesthetic purposes.'

'So I hope people understand Elvis is a rescue and I’m too much of a soft touch to not give a dog a home .'
'I’d have more if I had the space , anybody who knows me knows I can’t say no to a dog.'
