However, it's only now that it all appears to be coming to light.
A source told E! News, 'Divorce has been discussed, but Kim wants more than anything for their relationship to work.'

The couple have been living separately for a several months now.
She's living with their four children at their Calabasas home, while he's residing at the Wyoming ranch.
A source insisted they're, '100 percent aligned when it comes to the kids.'

This comes months after Kanye made some very shocking comments about their relationship during his presidential campaign rally.
In a Twitter spree last summer, he claimed he's been trying to divorce her ever since she met, 'Meek,' at a hotel.
It's believed he was talking about fellow rapper Meek Mill.

He also accused her and her mother Kris Jenner of trying to have him locked up.
Shortly after, Kim made a statement addressing Kanye's recent erratic behaviour.
She spoke about his Bipolar disorder and asked that, 'the media and public give us the compassion and empathy that is needed so that we can get through this.'

Despite all this, a source told E! that there's no specific moment that caused the issues they're having now.

The publication quote them saying, 'divorce is imminent,' for Kim and Kanye.
It's reported she's already hired divorce attorney Laura Wasser.
