Hozier has made Time Magazine's list of '100 Most Influential People' in 2025.
The Wicklow native joins fellow singer Ed Sheeran, US president Donald Trump, tech billionaire Elon Musk, Snoop Dogg, and Nicole Scherzinger on the list of "forces shaping our lives".

Hozier was honoured on the list with an article by Noah Kahan.
The American singer-songwriter says that when he met Hozier in 2023, he was "as kind as they come”.
He wrote that it was “easy to imagine Hozier as a folk deity in the forests of Ireland until I met him”.
“I’m not sure where my life would’ve gone if I hadn’t been exposed to his music,” he adds.
“Thank you, Hozier, for sharing your gift with us mere mortals.”
Blake Lively, who is in the middle of an ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni, is also included in the list.
