Griff chats to SPIN
SPIN's Sarina Bellissimo caught up with Black Hole singer Griff for a chat this week.
They talked about her incredible success over these last few months, her friendship with Taylor Swift and more.

Sarina asked Griff about how it felt taking home the BRITS Rising Star Award.
"That was weird. Weird in the best way,... like how did that happen?" She replied.
"I didn't even realise we were running for it 'cause when I found out we were nominated I was like what?"

"And then I found out I won and I was like, 'This is too much.'"
Griff told Sarina she was having nightmares ahead of her BRITS performance.
"It was really nerve wrecking but it was fun," she said.

"I was like sh*t... better not mess this up"
Sarina asked Griff what was going through her head seconds before her performance and she replied, "Dua Lipa's in the audience."
"Dua Lipa is like, maybe 10 meters away from me right now and is about to watch me."
"I was like sh*t... better not mess this up, here we go!"

Ahead of her BRITS performance, Griff received a bunch of flowers from one of her icons, Taylor Swift.
"I'm getting ready in the hotel room, I'm like, 'Oooh need to go soundcheck!'"
"And yeah the flowers appear and like I'm not even sure it's Taylor Swift. It was so mysterious the way she signed it off."

"So I freaked out, I put it on my story and everyone was like kicking off on Instagram."
"And then it turns out it was from her and then I met her after the night and yeah we just like chatted for a bit and it was really surreal."
The pair ended up sharing a bag of chips after the ceremony.
