Greg O'Shea talks Amber Gill split
Love Island's Greg O'Shea has opened up about his split from co-star Amber Gill.
The pair met on last year's series and ended up winning the show, taking home the £50,000 cash prize.
Greg and Amber called it quits shortly after leaving the Love Island villa.
And he faced serious backlash online for his handling of the situation - he broke up with her over the phone.
However, in a new interview on Goss Chats, he claimed there's more to the story than that.
Greg recalled the backlash being so bad that #unfollowgreg was trending on Twitter.
He said, "I remember someone screenshot and sent it to me, I was like, "oh my God.'"
"Like I think it was 400,000 people unfollowed me in the space of a couple of weeks."

The former Islander said, "People kind of got the wrong story. They just saw, 'Greg breaks up with Amber over text.'"
"There was so much more to it," Greg insists.
He explained, "We were in person, we were FaceTiming, there was phone calls, back and forth, and then just one thing comes out."
Greg admitted, "There’s no point in even fighting it because you’re just fighting a losing battle."
"Me and Amber have spoken privately, I don’t think anyone really knows this."
"We’ve spoken privately since and we’re both like yeah, no hard feelings, we probably could have dealt with the situation better."
He insisted, "We get on and there’s no hard feelings, that’s all that matters really."
Greg also pointed out that they really didn't know each other that well.
He said they had only spent 13 days together in the villa with cameras watching their every move.

Greg gushed over his former flame saying, "She's class, she has everything going for her!"
He went on, "But the issue was I came home and stuck myself into training..."
Greg continued, "Being honest, I could have probably tried to make it work but it would have made her unhappy."
"I couldn't give her what she needs and what she deserves... and then all of Britain lost their mind at me!"
